Kent Dual Drive Tandem Comfort Bike

Kent Dual Drive Tandem bike has a different look than the other tandem bikes. The silver fades into a gun-metal grey with a few red accents and black grips, seats and tires makes this bicycle very interesting looking with a slight retro accent. Also it has very nice and smooth ride.

Gearshifts are in the handgrip and smooth comfortable. One handle executes the big changing and the other one manage fine tunes the shifting. The brakes are a kind of little "v" brake systems, no disk brakes. Tires are adequate to give a good ride and in fact, were amazingly easy to manage and navigate. You won't be having quick turns with this as the bicycle is long but then again, it's not actually designed with racing in mind.

Actually the ride is very smooth. Wonderful cruiser. Can really gain a decent race but be sure to have plenty of braking distance and don't get tight corners at the high velocity. Entirely, a lot of fun for a pair with a terrific price. A fantastic bike! The adjustment was simple, just derailleur or brakes. A super family edition. A Lot of fun to ride. The ride is a real pleasure and the gear mechanism shift is very precise.

I am very enthusiastic bike rider. I have many miles have ridden on my road bicycle. I had some hesitations about the tandem bike especially for the price. It didn't disappoint me; I got exactly what I expected. The assemblage was easy and the bike performs extremely well. The shifting is a little tough, but acceptable, especially in this price range.

Also purchase of Kent Dual Drive Tandem bike is a good deal. The local bike stores had much more overpriced bicycles. They were as well not as good looking as this bicycle. The bike arrived with the front wheel, seats and the handgrip bars off, so I had to put them together but it didn't take me more than half an hour. Riding this bicycle is not hard at all compared to a normal mountain bicycle. You don't need to paddle it strong for it to run fast enough. The additional person on the back does not seem impact a lot the handling

Kent Dual Drive Tandem is not a professional quality or expensive bike...it is much better quality than most entry level bikes being sold out there today and holds up well over time. Still extremely pleased with this purchase. Smooth ride, great look, holds up well over time. So if you're interested in all the benefits of tandem biking and need a bike to start you off, you can't go wrong with this one. Great bike for the money!
