Bike Clothing for Sale

Various kinds of bike clothing is available for those that want to dress appropriately for mountain bike riding and the climate. Proper bike clothing is different from other types of clothing. It's often made with a breathable material which may also be antibacterial. Clothing that is windproof, waterproof and durable is often a major consideration. Extra pockets can be handy to provide extra storage for small items like a cell phone or some money.

In cooler climates, a long sleeve jersey and tech pants are a good fit, as well as gloves and a tech jacket with pit zipper openings. In the warmer seasons, bicycle shorts made of polyester or spandex are appropriate, coupled with a short sleeve t-shirt or even a half-sleeve jersey. Because of the attractive style of most bicycle clothing, many choose to wear it even when not riding their bike.

Mountain Bike Body Armor

For those more concerned with safety, adding armor under bike clothing is also an option. Mountain bike upper body armor, lower body armor, wrist protection as well as knee and elbow pads are should be worn to provide extra protection in the event of an accident or wipe-out. While some bike clothing does come with some padding built in, armor should be considered while riding on rough terrain.
