Bike Gloves for Sale

While some cyclists wear regular gloves while riding, cycling gloves are made specifically for the sport. What makes these gloves different is their design, which takes into account three different elements: comfort, protection and warmth. It's quite obvious from the nature of gloves that warmth is a key factor. The truth is, even in warmer weather, hands can get cold while cycling because hands are not moving much while riding. This inactivity causes hands to get cold and a pair of gloves is necessary. Good cycling gloves will be waterproof and windproof.

Comfort is yet another function of wearing gloves. Mountain biking can be hard on the hands because of the rough terrain. Over time the jarring can cause hands to become sore, but a good pair of gloves will come with padding to address this.

Gloves Help Prevent Injuries

The last and possibly most important function that gloves are good for is protection. While riding, a fall may cause serious damage to unprotected hands or brush could easily scrape hands, but gloves protect hands from injury. Some people do prefer to wear gloves without fingers so that they can easily make repairs to their bike if necessary, without removing gloves.
