New, Used Mountain Bikes by Rocky Mountain for Sale

Rocky Mountain says they build bikes, particularly, mountain bikes, for people who love to ride, and part of that philosophy is knowing that there's more than just one kind of rider out there. There are people who love long rides, people who enjoy cross country racing, casual riders, and people who really want performance. That's important for a company that's going to do more than cater to just a small specialty market.

Learn More About Rock Mountain Bikes

Rocky Mountain offers four independent full suspension systems, each built for a different purpose, so they'll be able to stand by their claim to suit all kinds of riders. Their R&D facility is right next to the factory, and they don't mass produce their bikes.

Instead, all wheels and bicycles are hand built, with high standards for construction and heavy quality control. They offer everything from 9" suspension downhill rigs to steel hardtails, and everything else, as well. They use only name brand components.

Rocky Mountain started nearly thirty years ago, and while they're bigger than they once were, they're still sticking to the same hands on approach they used then. They're located in Vancouver, and produce some of the best semi-custom bikes around.

They've come a long way from a couple of guys modifying road bikes in the late 1970s. In 1989, they produced their first aluminum production bike, and 2009 is going to see the first carbon frame bikes from Rocky Mountain. Despite the fact that they're using parts from other major manufacturers, Rocky Mountain is still offering a lot of innovation and creativity. Their bikes aren't going to be the same as one you can get from any mass producer.

In addition to their road, mountain, and path lines, Rocky Mountain also offers a line of women's bicycles. More than just the same old thing painted pink, these bikes are built to deal with challenges female riders frequently face and to improve performance. This line comes in mountain and urban/path types, and there are several different models offered in each category, making it easy for serious female cyclists to find their perfect bike.

If you're seriously into cycling and love the sport, you should take a little time to check out Rocky Mountain. They should be on every serious cyclist's list of suppliers. They offer some of the best high end mountain bikes and other types available, and their semi-custom methods mean that your bike is sure to fit. Tired of mass produced bikes that don't perform? It's time to check out a bike from Rocky Mountain instead.
